In lieu of a traditional approach to conservation area of working with primary solid material palette, a 2-storey streetscape presentation was introduced through a central pivoting adjustable screen and balcony façade which could totally enclosed that space and give the appearance of a 2-storey great wall.

An interpretation of classic built form engages the upper levels with a set-back forming a terrace facing the main street frontage that forms a continuation of the dominant pattern within the urban context.
An interpretation of classic form
Subtle changes in material and a lightened sense of detail emerges as one approaches the upper levels defining each tier of the building and its relationship to the overall form, solid to void balance, and scale of surrounding buildings.

Abode's exclusive feel includes marble and stone floors, stone-and-timber-veneer kitchens, as well as spectacular views out from Military Road to North Head and city skyline and Harbour Bridge.
