A collection of 12 apartments located in the eclectic inner Sydney suburb Newtown, it comprises 12 apartments sitting above a ground floor retail development on a unique site with a trapezoidal shape, with 7 sides, sitting on a corner.

The design seeks to find a balance between the existing neighbourhood character and create a fresh new
contemporary development that will bring great comfort, sanctuary and harmony to its occupants and also to the greater community and area.
new & modern aesthetic
The forms and materiality of the facade, reflect those of neighbouring and existing buildings, but its expression is to a new and modern aesthetic. The use of raw brick and raw concrete elements, help to ground the building, and provide recognisable materials with a tactile quality, giving the building a timeless feel with a human scale and connection. These materials are durable and hard wearing, enhancing the long-term image of building.

These ideals carry through to the curvature in the facade and addition of a metal screen, which help modernise the exterior and contextualise the materials in a way, different to the surrounding developments. The horizontal band of bricks around the building and the balconies, become an identifiable feature that further help to ground the building as a singular development on the lot, with indentations making it clear there are varying units and uses on the site.
