The proposal consists of a 5 storey residential building with ground level
retail. All levels feature articulated facades and screening elements with
appropriate setbacks and consideration to adjoining property walls and roof
lines allowing for a seamless transition to the surroundings. Apartments vary
from one bedroom to one bedroom + study and two bedroom cross-ventilated
predominantly single level dwellings.
Despite the challenging size of the subject property and limitation of site
frontage, the proposed building responds well to its existing context and
exploits the prominent slim and linear allotment to encourage street activation
of the street frontages.
