Loughlin St, Rozelle

This development aims to preserve and re-use the existing single storey warehouse and the two storey office/residence structure. The overarching idea is to pay homage to the historical value of the estate and represent a key period in the history and character of the locality by preserving the current form of the building.

Our vision is to retain and express the existing form of the building whilst skillfully crafting 3 separate homes into it. Lightwells and landscaped areas have been thoughtfully integrated into the design to allow light, natural ventilation and private outdoor spaces with a direct connection to the living spaces of the development.

Materials and finishes has been chosen such as corrugated metal roof sheeting, recycled timber and recycled face bricks to complement the existing brick and blockwork finishes which shall be stripped and exposed.
