Dubbo Regional Tower
This landmark development consists of 61 (100 key) serviced apartments, 27 residential apartments, a facilities deck with swimming pool and meeting rooms, gym and secure parking facilities. A bar and restaurant on ground level takes advantage of the views toward Macquarie River with glazing and outdoor deck area that wraps around corner façade of the building. Pocket seating areas at the entry to access the ground level has been designed to increase the amenity to the public domain on street level. Stepped landscaping has also been introduced as to address the flood plain level required.
The pedestrian footbridge connecting the development to Macquarie Street has been proposed as a way to address the isolation of the site during flood events. This also in line with Council’s vision for Church Street as a ‘park street’ and a possible future footbridge connection through to the other side of Macquarie River.
